Elara Jones, Founder of Gentle Adventures

Elara Jones, Founder & CEO

Elara Jones is the visionary founder and CEO of Gentle Adventures. A lifelong advocate for healthy aging and wellness, Elara holds a Master's degree in Gerontology from San Francisco State University and has over 15 years of experience working with seniors in the Bay Area. Her passion for outdoor activities and her deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of aging inspired her to create Gentle Adventures.

Elara is a certified yoga instructor and a dedicated hiker. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a warm, compassionate approach to all her endeavors.

Benjamin Lee, Content Director

Benjamin Lee, Content Director

Benjamin Lee is the Content Director for Gentle Adventures, responsible for creating and curating engaging and informative content for our website and social media channels. With a background in journalism and a passion for storytelling, Benjamin is committed to highlighting the inspiring stories of seniors who are living life to the fullest. He is also an avid photographer and videographer, capturing the beauty of Mill Valley and its surrounding areas.

Benjamin holds a BA in Communications from UC Berkeley and has worked for several local publications. He is dedicated to providing accurate, reliable, and accessible information on all aspects of active longevity.

Serena Patel, Community Outreach Coordinator

Serena Patel, Community Outreach Coordinator

Serena Patel serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator for Gentle Adventures, building partnerships with local organizations and healthcare providers to expand our reach and impact. With a background in public health and a strong commitment to community service, Serena is passionate about connecting seniors with the resources and support they need to thrive.

Serena holds a MPH from Johns Hopkins University and has experience working with underserved populations in the Bay Area. She is actively involved in several local initiatives aimed at promoting healthy aging and reducing social isolation.
